Understanding Cold Spray Powder Morphology with RJ Lee Group

In collaboration with Metal Powder Works and RJ Lee Group, we are researching the impacts of powder morphology and processing on cold spray additive manufacturing (CSAM). To do so, we are utilizing RJ Lee's IntelliSEM (shown) to characterize morphology, distribution, composition, and more. Gaining insight here is key to enabling and qualifying new materials!

This is a very challenging multi-variable problem and we believe this approach will shine some light (well, technically electrons) on what variables are most important in CSAM!
